# 4 May 2015- Three trucks (containing relief materials) were dispatched to Nepal from Nepal Earthquake Disaster Relief Collection Centre, Kolkata.

# Two carrier trucks with relief material ( 1100 tarpaulins, 10000 + blankets, 200 cartons of biscuits and others) for the earthquake victims are dispatched from the Nepal Earthquake Relief Material Collection Centre, Ganges Tower & Construction Pvt. Ltd 48A, Taratala Road, Opposite of Nature Park, Kolkata on 1 May 2015 in evening via road route.

Disaster Relief for Earthquake Victims
Following the massive destruction caused to lives and properties by the Earthquake on 25th April 2015 and its subsequent aftershocks, the Government of Nepal has agreed to solicit humanitarian aid from all friendly countries and international organisations.
Relief Materials such as blankets, food items, drinking-water, tarpaulins, medicine and first aid materials are required for the earthquake victims. Therefore, any countries or organizations ready to help in this hour of tragedy by providing aforementioned relief materials are earnestly and urgently requested to coordinate with the Residential Representative Office of the United Nations Organization based in Kathmandu.

The Government of Nepal expresses gratitude to foreign Government, aid agencies, business and social organizations, private sectors and individuals who wish to contribute in cash.
